About Johnson Bag Co., Inc.
Albert Lawrence Johnson started Johnson Bag Company in his basement, with $200.00, borrowed from a friend. Al set up his machine right next to the coal burning furnace in 1952. During the early days we ran cellophane products. Robert Johnson attended High School while working 40 hours per week at Johnson Bag. Robert is now retired and living out his dream on a horse farm, in a log cabin, next to lakes he built himself. Bob created his scenic view before he created his cabin. Fifty-six years later we still work long days, evenings and weekends to keep your project on task. Although the coal burning furnace is gone, and we have a fully automated internet shopping cart, our work ethic and values remain the same.
